Sunflower Events offers both event planning and day of coordinating, working alongside you for every part of the process. You are able to take a step back from the hustle, and enjoy the day you’ve been dreaming up. We make it your duty to simply be present in the company of your guests and soak up all the joyful moments when the big day arrives.

The Packages

Weddings

You will find our wedding offerings come in three different tiers, Pearl, Ruby and Diamond. These are designed with a typical wedding day flow in mind, but can be customized to your unique vision.

Corporate

Each corporate event is unique in its size and needs, but we are here for it! May it be a holiday party for your team or a multi-part campaign, we have the expertise to bring it to life.

WEDDING PACKAGES

Pearl Package

The Pearl Package is for the couple that is all set on most of the details and just needs help executing the day.

Starting at $1,400 for 6 hours

    • Local Vendor recommendations

    • Unlimited communication (during normal business hours)

    • Assistance with day-of timeline creation and management

    • Final venue walk-through 2-4 weeks before the wedding (depending on venue and availability)

    • Three 1-hour detail meetings starting 3 months before the wedding

    • One final meeting the week before the wedding

    • Vendor communication starting the month of the wedding

    • One hour rehearsal attendance

    • Set-up / tear-down / room flip, as needed

    • One Lead Coordinator and one Assistant Coordinator for the wedding day

Ruby Package

The Ruby Package is for the couple that needs help with the vendor side of planning. This is our full coordination and partial planning package.

Ruby Package | $3,000

    • Personalized Vendor recommendations and introductions

    • Unlimited communication (during normal business hours)

    • Assistance with day-of design and floor plan creation

    • Final venue walk-through 2-4 weeks before the wedding (depending on venue and availability)

    • Five 1-hour planning and detail meetings starting up to 6 months before the wedding 

    • One final meeting the week before the wedding

    • Point of Contact for Vendor communication

    • Budget / payment tracking, as needed

    • One hour rehearsal attendance

    • 12 Hours of in-person attendance on the wedding day

    • Set-up / tear-down / room flip, as needed

    • One Lead Coordinator and one Assistant Coordinator for the wedding day

Diamond Package

The Diamond Package is for the couple that doesn't quite know where to start. This package is our full planning and coordination package.

Diamond Package | $4,300

    • Personalized Vendor recommendations and introductions

    • Assistance in booking vendors and contract negotiation

    • Unlimited communication (during normal business hours)

    • Assistance with day-of timeline creation and management

    • Assistance with day-of design and floor plan creation

    • Final venue walk-through 2-4 weeks before the wedding (depending on venue and availability)

    • Seven 1-hour planning and detail meetings starting up to 8 months before the wedding 

    • One final meeting the week before the wedding

    • Point of Contact for Vendor communication

    • Budget planning guidance and payment tracking

    • One hour rehearsal attendance

    • 12 Hours of in-person attendance on the wedding day

    • Set-up / tear-down / room flip, as needed

    • One Lead Coordinator and one Assistant Coordinator for the wedding day

CORPORATE PACKAGE

Corporate Event Planning

Whether it be an intimate luncheon for your board members or an evening awards gala, the Sunflower Events team is ready to help you plan the perfect gathering. We know each company is a little different, so we will start with a consultation to discuss budget, general aesthetic, and how hands-on you would like to be with the process. Then the Sunflower Events team will take it from there!

There is no set package for a corporate event, but we are prepared to create custom proposals for you to submit to your board or sponsors as needed. Let us help you craft the perfect corporate gathering!

PARTY PACKAGE

Party Planning

We know that when it comes to planning events there are a million different things to consider and directions they can take. No birthday party is like another, especially when it comes to different ages, and there are a million and one different bridal and baby shower themes you can go with.

At Sunflower Events, we want to help you navigate parties for all the milestones in your, your family, and your friend’s life! We have experience planning baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette trips, birthday parties for all ages, and so much more. Let’s sit down and talk about your party ideas and let us help you put a smile on everyone’s face!

Additional Services

  • Additional hours: $200 / hour

  • Additional Assistant Coordinator: $100 / hour

  • Rehearsal Dinner Planning / Assistance: $1,000

    • Booking and managing vendors for the rehearsal dinner​

    • One Sunflower Events representative for up to 5 hours for set-up / tear-down and management

    • Additional hours and / or representatives can be added for $100 / hour each

  • Separate day set-up / tear-down (travel included): $500

    • Up to 4 hours of set-up the day before or tear-down the day after​

    • Additional hours can be added for $100 / hour

  • Travel (subject to availability and discussion):

    • Outside a 30-mile radius of Augusta, KS 67010​ (Federal mileage charge)

    • Travel more than 4 hours round-trip will require a hotel fee

    • Travel more than 10 hours round-trip may require a flight and rental car fee

      • Subject to location and discussion​

    • Weddings during a holiday / holiday weekend are subject to an additional fee

      • Major Holidays: $500 (including: New Year | Easter | Juneteenth | Fourth of July | Thanksgiving | Christmas)​

      • Other Holidays: $300 (including: MLK Day | Valentine's Day | President's Day | Memorial Day | Labor Day | Halloween)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • YES! (Unless your venue specifically tells you that they have a day-of-coordinator for you.) A venue coordinator is different from a day-of-coordinator. Their responsibility is the venue whereas our responsibility is you! That is not to say they will not help you if you need it, however, it is not guaranteed that they would be able to help you at the exact time you need it if they need to be doing something for the venue. A day-of-coordinator will put your needs and vendor needs first!

  • Think of coordination as day of management and planning as the entire planning process (+ coordination). With our coordination package, we will help you iron out those final details as well as make sure all of the vendors are on the same page. With partial planning and planning, we kind of become the third wheel in your relationship! We are there every step of the way during the planning process (i.e., helping you book vendors, attending design meetings, etc.).

  • Of course! We will ask you for a basic outline of your event (when you can get into the venue / when you have to leave, who all is getting hair / makeup done, vendor hours, etc.), from there we will put together a rough timeline to send to you and then we will make adjustments from there. Typically the timeline will be final a week or two before the wedding or event, but there is always some flexibility!

  • For coordination-only events, we become the point of contact around a month out. For planning events, we can become the point of contact as soon as your contract is signed / deposit paid.

  • Not technically but we definitely prefer it! Unless your officiant would like to or the venue has a coordinator for ceremonies, we will run everything except the actual marriage part. We will help get everyone down the aisle / seated where they need to be, but your officiant will walk through the ceremony part with you. We can always do it if need be, but it's best if your officiant is there.

  • Short answer - no. However, we are more than happy to hold onto it during the day and give it to the officiant when they arrive. Typically your officiant will take it with them after it is signed and they will send it in (double check that they are comfortable handling this). If we are made aware before the wedding day, we’re happy to take care of sending it in, but usually your officiant will do that.
